It's a sad day for the wife and I... "Murphy" is for sale.

Because I am getting a job that doesn't allow me to have a car anymore, I have to sell Murphy, my 2003 Indi Blue Mini Cooper. Here are the specs:

**Factory inspected - this car was pulled aside at the factory out of 500 cars for assembly line inspection. Probably explains why I've never had any problems.

On a serious note, Sean might want to put this in Marketplace, where people look to buy things. And state an asking price - buyers like me want to know if you want all your money back, or are willing to accept some depreciation. And paint the roof white, and get a supercharger - THEN I'd be interested.

If you are out of country then have a safe trip.
You can do storage (commercial or with a family member-car cover and disconnect battery or drive weekly).
You can also sell on Ebay.com

I think hes going into professional pan-handling and having people see him get into his car after aa hard days work would just blow the whole image.

Storing a car is a terribly bad idea. Why make payments on something that depreciates in value even when it's not used? Also, you have to PAY for the storage. I would definitely have to do some serious pan handling to pay for that.

I will be away on a boat for years. No point in storing this thing while it drops to like $10K in value.
