The latest Jun/Jul issue of "go mini" magazine has an article on fastest Minis featuring a 375 hp MINI.

Here's a quote:

"With a 3.2-litre M3 engine tucked away under the bonnet, this Mini can leave Porsches and other supercars eating its dust. The light weight bonnet is easily removable, making sure this 375 bhp monster can be got to quickly in the pitlanes."

Haven't seen the article in question, but if you type in Qvick Motors into Google, it'll bring you to a tuner shop that creates a killer MINI with an M3 inline6. Some wicked machines coming out of there.
Cheers,

Actually, the one in the "Go mini" is yellow/blue that has 375 bhp, more than the typical 333 bhp from M3. It is RWD and engineered by Eric Qvick of Belgian.

Performance mods on this particular car:

- 3.2 L 375 bhp M3 engine and drivetrain
- M3 E36 suspension
- puchrod inboard shock absorber rear suspension
- Pagid and Brembo brakes
- twin racing fuel cells
- racing clutch
- modified proshaft

So was that based off an MC or MCS??? Not that it really matters since it's not even the same car anymore.

Is it front engine, or rear engine? It does'nt seem like there would be enough room up front for a six. Where did you get the mag???

It's front engine and RWD.

"Go mini" es a British mag that's published bi-monthly. As far as I know, it's the only magazine dedicated solely to BMW MINI. I have annual subscription, in which the mag is mailed from GB to my US address.
