Am in the process of updating Greta's home. Here are a couple of shots? Was interested if any of my fellow miniacs had any cool garage themes.

I think you're just bragging about your NICE shop (reminds me of my home in sunny Houston, where mah race car shop (attached two car) happened to be carpeted, air conditioned and neon lit!
At any rate, what is obviously missing is the MINI Cuckoo clock....what in tarnation is the matter with you??? Go drop the $100....right now. it will fit nicely btween the Works frame and the Texaco or around the parking meter......

Now that a nice Garage Coopernation, the posters look 3D.

PKT RKT, looked at the cuckoo clock, I am cuckoo about my mini but not that cuckoo. Have a Timken bearing clock that is just off camera shot. Not bragging just proud, I may have to live there if I keep spending money on Greta(my Mini) and not Erin(my wife).

AAARRRGGGGGHHH

Bonz, Cooperation, you guys are killing me.
I put my house on teh market recently so my summer plans of installing racedeck and teh gladiator garageworks stuff is on hold until the next house.

Good news is the next house is not only three car, but the ceilings are tall enough to put a lift in to expand the car capacity.
I'll refresh this post hopefully before the winter.

My garage motif is early American clutter. There's so much junk in there that I can't even fit a MINI in it right now.

I'm hoping to build some shelves over the summer and get a lot of stuff off of the floor and MAYBE I can actually park a car in there.

Bonz,

What's your set up for the wheels on the wall? Homemade job or did you buy it somewhere? I did a homemade plywood on wheels that's works well but would like to get them off the floor.

Nice garages guys. I've done some drywalling and other "clean" stuff on mine but didn't finish it all off yet. Will get around to it.

They're actually acrylic paintings on 3/4" particle board, and are mounted about an inch off the wall...thanks!

Ken, the wheel hangers are from Griot Garage. The work pretty well and keep my wheels off the floor thus leave more room for other clutter.

[quote]That's no chicken, that's a Gamecock! I have been living in upstate NY for the past dozen or so years and my old University of South Carolina Alumni plate is the only thing I have that reminds me of the smooth southern roads with 75 mph speed limits.

Hmm, upstate NY, East or West, Plattsburg or Rochester? My Family is scattered about between the 2 and some have even slipped across into Burlington. Frost heaves here we come!!

Smokey4 ,
I knew you were kidding, only a fellow Southerner would have picked out the plate. Have landed in Saratoga, and make bi-weekly trips to Malone/Plattsburgh up to the border because I'm a pharmaceutical sales associate. I do have Cable and would like a copy of that great print. An 11x14 would look sweet in my office. PM me.

Thanks

This is my toy box. ATV's for the sand, 69 Camaro project car (12.7 sec quarter mile time) and my 2002 MCS. The mini is the hands down favorate right now but the Camaro is fun in a straight line. LOL

It's taken 12 years to get the shop in this shape. It has a small paint booth, forced air heat, stereo, fridge, blast cabinet etc. All the comforts of home (without the wife). lol

I was just going over my old psychology notes, and I think that having a "garage motif" is a sign of some sort of significant **** retentive disorder. I am going to research this a little more and get back to you. By the way, my daughter thinks my garage motif is "Dawn of the Living Dead." She might have something there.......

When you garage is bigger than your house and you spend more time in it than your house, you might have a problem. lol

Problem? Sounds like a solution to me! I long for the day that my garage is bigger than my house. But I'd settle for a nice three car garage with any size living space attached.
