I have a 2005 mini cooper s and I was wanting to put on some new rims. Currently I have stock 17 inch and 7 inch width rims with 45 offset. I want to get some rims that are 17 inch and also 7 inch width with 35 offset. I was wondering if I could possibly go half an inch more in the width. so 7.5". Is that possible? My tires are 215/45/17. Also I am planning on putting some lowering springs on my car soon after the rims. I just really want some more opinions before I drop some $$$. I rub rarely, only on a very hard dip and if I have people in my car. Any input would be great. Thanks guys!!
