I use sea foam at times. Try BP Blaster next time as it removes carbon build better. Just look at it as Sea Foams evil twin.

I just know between the two brands the PB Blaster broke down and removed carbon build up on 2 stroke engines better then the Sea Foam. Same experience when cleaning diesel intakes manifolds.

Yeah i used PB, Sea Foam, and break cleaner to clean the flange between the clutch and the tranny (no gasket).. made life very easy.. the crud just "wiped" off..

You should try running a music composition forum!! Every opinion is subjective. There is "no" frame of reference, no quantifiable data.. I closed it down.. It was a battle royal from the get go.. all things considered, you guys are relatively polite ")

No the 18 doesnt go on your car unless you want it, but if you could add some dyno numbers to the list thread, that would be great.

18 will look great under one of the scuttles. Depending on whether i can find the guy in fresno who has a dyno… he moves around. eventually, i'll throw up some numbers..

the reason why some of us look at this stuff and ask wtf, is because alot of us have been around long enough to see this scenario played out time after time after time and the results are always the same....dump tons on money into this that and the other...but cheap out on a critical part or system, then it takes massive dump and you are left a expensive paperweight...if i was going to open a transmission to put a clutch in there for a modded setup i would just spend the money and do it right

The euro parcel shelf

There is no room in a mini to put stuff, Things like your wallet, house keys, the usual everyday odd's and end's you need. But, are uncomfortable in your pockets while driving.. last week, buddy took me for a spin in his R53, as i was perusing the interior of his mini, i saw he had a shelf under the steering column. "The euro parcel shelf" he told me "Really hard to find" he said. Turns out they're not. Out Motoring "Had" 17 in stock, now, i have one of those..And a place to put all my junk. besides, the center console bucket which isn't conducive for DD. Comes with the switch cover, mounting screws and a bottom liner.

Well not quite as much done as i expected today, i helped put another clutch in (Third clutch in two weeks. Now i know how to change the clutch on a 1st gen mini in my sleep )

Anyway tomorrow, all i have to do is put the bumper and intercooler on, flash it for the 550's..

Swapping out the gear change cables made a huge difference to the "feel" of the tranny!! the old ones were full of crud...

350 miles nearly there…
Did the wideband couple of days ago, just put in the fancy chrome bits..

The engine light is from the "P1477" code. I have a vacuum leak somewhere..
got to take the intercooler off and have a look.. The rubber grommets for the breather tubes, on the SC air tube to the TB, aren't as tight as they should be, meaning it's a slightly loose fit..
