92 cents a leter = $3.48 a gallon and 6.8 ltrs per 100 kms = 32.85 MPG. That's not bad on mileage but the price stinks!

I live literally 5min from pretty much everything. Eg. work, downtown, most friends' houses, shopping, etc. But I still take the MCS out to play with during the week for a nice little rip. And that's where I drain the tank. Mind you, out here in Kelowna, the gas is only 83.5. Now I say ONLY in the way of comparison to your 92 cents. But it's still high for out here in my eyes.
I was shelling out a months rent for gas each month when I had my SVT Lightning. I was doing about 11mpg on regular driving. But when I stomped hard and strectched her out, I was getting around 8mpg. That sucked.......literally. But damn......that machine was fun.
Cheers,

CDN$3.48 is US$2.54. That's not much more than I've been paying in California.

>>Winter here is -47 somtimes .Winter in Califonia is still good surfing, We can't really compare much, but the MINIs themselves. When it is -40 and less, gas milage sucks
And I don't warm up my MINI much before the first motor of the day, even when it 's
that cold.HEATED SEATS,again,HEATED SEATS.
Why are we paying so much , anyone

Hey come on.........don't give 'em ideas.
I remember seeing it over a dollar/liter somplace in Canada. Can't remember where though. And that was just for regular.
Love the price in around Abotsford/Chilliwack, BC. You can get 94 octane for the price of other city's midgrade, there. Sometimes even around low 80 cents/liter.
It's kinda nice when it's winter though. Just hook up the polar bear sled team to drag the MINI around. Put her in neutral and let 'em take you away. You can feed them anything to keep them guys going.
Cheerio,

It's all relative..........My friend who lives in the Shetland Islands, some 300 miles north of the northern tip of Scotland, pays around $7.00 per imperial gallon (slightly more than a US Gallon) for regular gas! quicherbitchen.

We are paying more cuz the stuff is REALLY running out. And there are a billion chinese and another billion Indians who would ALSO like to own a car or two.......get used to the price, it is going to go higher and higher, with temporary lulls here and there, some drops, but make no mistake about it, the stuff WILL run out. supply and demand decide the price of crude. It is REALLY truly a free market.

>>  You'll have to let me know when it goes up again for you. There seems to be about a two day delay in the hike of it by the time it happens at this end of the country from your end. I'll be ready next time. Those dirty bastards!
Cheers,
