thanks for the kudos!
you too can do this! my MCS is bone stock under the hood! for now
runnin on 18x7.5 velox novas 42os on sumitomo htzII 225-40-ZR18s with a H&R 40mm spring drop.
caution! not alignment friendly.
leave it in frist gear and have at it!

So there is a way to "burn" through my run-flats faster....hmmmmm...

I'm almost kinda surprised at the response that some gave regarding this thread. I'm all for it....don't get me wrong. But that maneuver is rather easy to do. Just get her going, brake while throwing up the E-brake and while cranking the steering, and then get the revs up quick to take off again. Donuts are so easy. And it doesn't take a lot of power or any mods to do. The majority of corners I take are with my E-brake. For all those who have their MINI, go and have some fun and practice a bit in a parking lot some time. It doesn't take a professional to do. Stretch its wings. Spice it up by trying a reverse 180 and keep it going forward after.
These cars do it sooo well. Gotta have some fun for yourselves. Go at it.
I hear ya about the time spent on the car and car related itmes. Lost my previous girl to that. She said I was spending too much time and money on my car and on the computer with car clubs and such, and with too many car nuts around town. It's hard to satisfy others sometimes.
Cheers,

Simple recipe for enjoyment: Take 1 new MINI. Add 6 gears. Drop in 1 supercharger. A dash of 94 octane. A sprinkle of style. And finally add 1 MadMan. Bake pavement and tires to taste. Recipe produces 1 MINI Cooper'S' and full satisfaction. Motor On!!

no special technique here. this is a very simple manuver.
ill post the reverse 180 video just as soon as its done!
i dont see why the handbrake would help in anything but a true hairpin turn.
