Has anybody tried one of these? I have a small dent in my hood I think I can get out with this hookiedickie... I don't wan to to spend hundreds of dollars getting this little round dent out. I was just wondering if anybody has actually tired on of these things and if they really do work?

Stay away from those "As seen on TV" trickets.....these devices often don't work and in many instances could make your ding/dent even worse than ever before.

Do yourself a favor and pick up the phone to call a PDR technician from http://www.dentwizard.com or any other PDR repair company in your area. Dings/dents MUST be professionally repaired using approved PDR techniques.

Dry Ice and "Pops-a-dent" devices are just marketing gimmicks that don't deliver results.

If you care about your MINI, PDR is the only way to go (Paintless Dent Removal).

I agree with cooper4us. I had dentwizard fix a few dings on my cars
the past few years and they always told me NOT TO TOUCH the dent if
you want to get it out completely. When you touch it, the surface and
angles of the bends distort making it even harder for the pro's to get
it out.

but, if you don't want to spend the $99 they charge, it may be worth
a try to get that dent out yourself... I was able to get one dent out
with pure luck. (using a spoon from the back and wooden
chopstick + light hammer from the front).

These days, IF i get a ding, i just take it to the pro's.

well I jsut keepign gettign quotes over the phone for 300+ its not a very sharp dent but the back of it is covered with metal you can just see it from the other side. that teh only thing I can see makign it a big deal. 99 isnt' bad i'd gladly pay it. but 300 I might just live with it for awhile
