R50/53 Which boost gauge do we use
I'm a simple (old) man wanting a round gauge with an arm that moves. Question a little off topic... just a little. I will get a Prosport boost gauge. In addition I want either an oil temp or (more so) an oil pressure gauge. Which is an easier install. I'm asking because I've gotten the idea that one is easier than the other on the N18 and I'm not sure which and I've yet to have time to read the threads to figure it out. Wow, that last sentence sucked... bourbon....
Braminator do you happen to have the instructions on how to program the scangauge for boost on the r53?
It has a boost reading in it already http://www.ultra-gauge.com/ultragauge/index.htm

Yes sir -- thanks...I will report back later tonight with results -- hopefully good ones.
Okay so I followed the instructions in that post and it worked if its accurate.
I have a 15% craven speed pulley. If i rip on the car I see 13.5 psi of boost.
Sitting at idle I see -8.2 -> -8.5
Does that make sense to guys on the board?
