Which boost gauge do we use

Can we use a electronic boost gauge or do I need to order a mechanical boost gauge?

Just get a ScangaugeII unless you like the looks of the round gauges.

You can use both, depends on the gauge you want. I have a Prosport electrical and I like it.

I'm a simple (old) man wanting a round gauge with an arm that moves. Question a little off topic... just a little. I will get a Prosport boost gauge. In addition I want either an oil temp or (more so) an oil pressure gauge. Which is an easier install. I'm asking because I've gotten the idea that one is easier than the other on the N18 and I'm not sure which and I've yet to have time to read the threads to figure it out. Wow, that last sentence sucked... bourbon....

Braminator do you happen to have the instructions on how to program the scangauge for boost on the r53?

Okay so I followed the instructions in that post and it worked if its accurate.

I have a 15% craven speed pulley. If i rip on the car I see 13.5 psi of boost.

Sitting at idle I see -8.2 -> -8.5

Does that make sense to guys on the board?
