In this time of Second and Fourth Amendment rights being casually violated by even the local police (as recently happened in the town where I went to high school, about 20 minutes away), I'd exercise discretion in posting that sort of stuff. For what it's worth.

in FL, you can carry a weapon in your vehicle without a permit.

im not really understanding what your saying... bc, it IS my 2nd and 4th amendment right to both carry such weapons, and "talk" about them.

You saying its a "bad" idea to exercise my rights? especially in such a time, where they are being threatened of being taken away?... seems like an extra good reason to post such a thing, but maybe im a fool...

Being a pro-Constitution conservative, I do not disagree with you. I'm just cautioning that what people post about weapons has been used to initiate (or at least attempt to) illegal searches, etc. And ultimately, on whose side do you think that the Obama/Holder Justice Department is going to come down?

For example, in Carneys Point, NJ recently -- where I went to high school -- a kid posted a picture on Facebook of a .22 rifle that he was given for his 11th birthday (the father is a shooting instructor, BTW). The Carneys Point Police ended up going to his house in full riot gear, demanding to see the gun and demanding to be allowed in the house to see what was in the father's gun cabinet. With his attorney on speaker phone, the father firmly refused and after a lot of posturing by the PD, the matter was eventually dropped.

So all I'm suggesting is to exercise a little circumspection when displaying to the whole world exactly what weaponry you have and where you keep it, as it might come back to bite you when you need it the most.

Your mileage may vary.

Agree with above, just exercise caution and discretion. Posting things on the internet isn't as clear cut as one might believe. There are those that look at it as a challenge.

I was wondering where to mount a holster in my R53, everything seems to just be out in the open.

YEAH...
Good move on the edit!!
Gun on the Downtubes......
Might not want it there in such plain sight...where a window will not get smashed, and have it stolen if you leave it there!!
try the Euro parcel shelf....for...er....EXTRA storage, out of sight...
It replaces the drivers side Knee-bolster, and gives you a shelf.............

Crazy that this thread started yesterday after today's incident. Prayers to everyone and their families that were affected.

I had a 7" blade in a sharpener sheath wedged between my passenger seat and center console , was mostly hidden by the seat belt clip at the bottom.
Got pulled over one day and cop told me to remove it from my car. ... Damn Cali, no fixed blades as a "carry" over 6 inches and no dual sided blades. I now carry a assisted flip style blade in the pouch on the back of the passenger seat for easy access if necessary.

I work in a lot of shady places after dark here in the bay area, bad parts of Oakland, Richmond, Vallejo, Stockton.... Some of the worst cities in the state. I don't carry guns due to having a 3year old and she wants whatever papa has, I'm afraid she would notice it. She is well aware of a knife and not as much damage could ever be done with it when compared to a gun.

Guns will be later and I will find a mount for it that is NOT concealed as that is 100% legal and conceal it when I'm away from my vehicle.

so, sorta related to this gun deal here... anybody notice, that nearly ALL ammo from almost Every store is SOLD OUT!?... i cant get anything, all the shelves are EMPTY! 3 walmarts in 2 cities have doodely, and several gun stores dont have squat either!

people are going ammo crazy here, and ive read online that nearly all ARs are sold out nationwide as well, and 90% of ammo inventory in the US is depleted! ammo manufacturers are struggling to keep up!

There is no ammo and AR's because government is helping to stimulate the economy by trying to ban them.

Plenty of space for a gun rack in a pickup.

As a matter of safety for my passengers and after extensive testing, I have determined that the MINI is not certified for aerobatics. So, there is affixed on the center console a label: "DO NOT INVERT".

This addition gave me honorary status in the 'The Inverted Turtle Society' or as Big Daddy said it 'T.I.T.S'. My inclusion expanded the name to 'T.I.T.S. and A.R.S.E.' or the 'Anti Rollover Support Enthusiasts'.

I should have added the below image with the earlier comment. There are some who have been inducted into T.I.T.S. of their own volition or by outside forces beyond their control. In order to proactively mitigate any chance of inclusion I had installed the badge as shown:

Just as a matter of interest, close to 25,000 miles of successful upright motoring has transpired since that image was produced.

Here in Chicago there is a total gun ban and to be honest it sucks , I've been robbed at gun point about 3 times and really I don't understand the ban if gang bangers can still have them and commit crimes Why can't i have one to protect myself and my belongings?
If the whole country banned ARs then you know for sure they begin to confiscate them and soon after will be banning pistols , idk Why but i get the feeling some of You here are Alex Jones listeners..like myself sorry if I went off topic , don't wanna throw the thread off track

i say, give EVERYONE a gun, make it a law. then, nobody will get shot, because you know the other person will shoot back!

and, eventually, all the dumb@sses will kill each other off, and problem solved! survival of the fittest!

The problem is not gun control. The problem is lack of law enforcement.
Also Not everyone can have a gun. You need to be able to prove that you make good decisions and can actually use said weapon under duress.
A certain level of gravity is added to a situation when you escalate a situation into a gun battle.
Adding a Holster to a mini would obviously be a manner of personal preference.
Good luck.

I thought that this was about air bags, etc and mods that could be done to make the car safer. My error.
