R50/53 Anybody wishing they had gotten a different color on their M
I love my CR/W MC, after 7 months of ownership it's everything I had hoped .....but my original color choice was BRG/W. I'm OK with changing from BRG to CR, which I did shortly after I placed my order. Today I was at Walmart and picked up a 1/18 diecast in LY with a checkerboard roof. Sitting next to my CR/W diecast I'd have to say LY looks better. Since MINI's are extremely rare in my area, (more like non-existent), I never see another color on an actual MINI but if I did I think I'd be constantly changing my mind as to which is my favorite.
Any other second guessers on their choice of colors?

I do not second guess myself at all....this BRG......biggest mistake of my life.....the dealer won't even take it in trade.....I guess word has gotten around that they are just terrible.......anything you can think of....it's happened......never again a BRG MINI.....word to the wise......
>>I agree with you. I have an EB/EB MCS on order, and Im already thinking that I should have ordered a LY/W. Oh well, Im sure I wont even remember I said this when my MCS arrives!
I have an liquid yellow / white. Sometimes I wish I had an electric blue / white. Then the LY jumps out at me and I'm reassured that my LY choice was a good one. I still wouldn't mind a EB/W...

I'm still very happy with IB/W, but it was a decision I really agonized over. In the end I'm glad I did. IB/W was a good choice for me personally based on where I drive, where I park, my taste in color, and the classic, understated look I wanted my MINI to embody. I had to weigh all this.
While I like all the MINI colors (even Solid Gold), I think they're especially gorgeous when seen in person. Local MINI meets are the ONLY place around here to see a diversity of color combos side by side. Not even at the dealer are there so many MINIs in one place.

I love my CR/W, there aren't many other colors in the MINI lineup that match so well with the Union Jack roof decal. If I had to do it over again, my choices would be (in order) CR/W, IB/W, and LY/W.
I've got BRG/Black, its a really sleek, classy looking combo IMO, I'm glad I got it, wouldn't have ordered anything else. Well, maybe I would have gotten EB/W, thats a sweet color too, but thats a bit too flashy for me.

I'll let you know in a couple of months when we get our LY/W car! Sometimes, I wished we ordered a CR/W or IB/W and we don't even have the car yet.

I sometimes wish I didn't go with the UJ paint scheme, just because of all the attention it gets. Little kids in minivans, etc.
Though when the cute college chicks start getting googly-eyed over it and say "that's YOUR car!? COOL!", then its worth it.
If I hadn't gotten IB/IB (which is what it was before I painted it), I would have done DS/B. Maybe would have gone DS/DS and painted the car in a silver UJ. Who knows.
As much as I hate white cars... I think Minis look great in it... the one in the Italian Job was gorgeous with that Aero kit.
I think we all just get a bit tired of our cars after seeing them everyday... but we love them just the same.

It took me several tries before I ending up with the current IB/W. My first order was a PS/B with all the options. Then, I discovered NAM, where I learned about the importance of weight in MINI's performance. Since black has always been my choice of color in most of the cars I?ve owned, I changed my order to an all black one with minimalist approach and delay the production another 2 months. However, the more I think, the more I want the sunroof, heated seats, auto climate control, et... At this point I didn't want to re-order for the third time and delay the production even longer. So I start calling around, beginning with Classic and Hampton first to see what they have coming. Thankfully, Classic had a IB/W coming with spec close to what I have in mind. Best of all, I can get the UJ on the sunroof that matches the car perfectly!

my 1st cooper, JB/JB was such a gorgeous car.. the chrome on it was fantastic. but when i just recently had a 2nd chance to order a new one. my main reason for switching colors was how hard it was to keep my jb clean.
that said, i love PW

I walked in planning to plop down my deposit for BRG/W, but the totally redness of the CR I saw seduced me. I've loved my CR/W, although I saw an IB/W that gave me some pause about my decision.
But now I'm told red is trooper bait. Oh well, I still love my CR/W but might try IB if I upgrade to an MCS. It seems pretty hard to go wrong in picking colors with these Coops.

I did the same thing but went with CR/B.
By the way, a CR full size mini looks better than a diecast LY, and a full size LY looks better than a CR diecast

Oh, I am going back and forth almost daily about IB/W and CR/W. It's agonizing. I ordered IB/W. I haven't changed it once, and I don't think I will, but I will always wonder, "What if I got the CR/W" I mean, it WAS Charlize's car afterall - who I thought was just so cool in the movie...
I love my CR/W MCS...no regrets there as is the color I have always wanted to have in the MINI, specially the S. We also enjoy our Pepper White Cooper due to its relativy "rarity" but sometimes we kind of wished we would have gotten the then available Velvet Red Metallic with white roof, which was the other color choice we had aside from Pepper White/Black.
Velvet Red is extremely rare color. I have only seen a couple of VR Coopers recently. The last one I saw last week was an all VR Cooper (Body and roof) very sweet.
