Just wanted to give props to Julie Saxa and Classic Mini of Mentor, OH. I ordered my new S Works through Julie and had it in my driveway In CA just 8 weeks later. Got a geat deal on the car and shipping, and avoided paying CA sales tax on the accessories, including JCW. Julie handled all the shipping details and navigated around a couple of last-minute obstacles with great service and generosity. She responded nearly instantly to my emails and worked hard to make sure I was happy through the whole process.

The whole experience was fantastic. If you are considering buying a Mini out of state, definitely give Julie a call. Tell her XAlfa sent you

Is the JCW kit the same price as the CA dealers? Does anyone know if any other dealerships are offering a discount on them?

I concur:

Just wanted to give props to Julie Saxa and Classic Mini of Mentor, OH. I ordered my new S through Julie last Dec and had it in my driveway In WA just 7 weeks later. Got a geat deal on the car and avoided paying WA sales tax on the accessories. Julie handled all the shipping details and navigated around a couple of last-minute obstacles with great service and generosity. She responded nearly instantly to my emails and worked hard to make sure I was happy through the whole process.

Ditto, I placed an order with Julie last week, and she's been extremely helpful. She let me know of my production # the minute she got it and been very responsive to all my inquiries. Hopefully I'll be getting my MCS in July if all goes well

Adding another Ditto. Ordered April 3rd, should have my CR/Blk MC next month. Julie and the whole team there are pretty awesome.

I think some CA dealers are charging as much as $6500 for the JCW.

I had a great experience buying, too, but I'm sooooo sad! My car won't seem to budge off of "On Order" I hope it does soon. But yes, Classic is great to work with.

Classic is also awesome on parts. WAAAYYYY cheaper than any CA dealer, lightning fast shipping and very knowledgable parts guys. I've ordered two different things from them and have been delighted with the service.

To all these posts I can only say, "WORD UP!"

Got my Euro parcel shelf through them a few weeks ago 2 days after I ordered it, $35 cheaper than what the local dealer wanted (and another local dealer didn't even know what it was, even when I supplied part numbers!!!). I'll be buying ALL my factory parts through them from here on out....
