2003 mini cooper front end help

The other day going to work somebody cut me off the other day so I went offroad to avoid hitting them. My passenger front tire went down in a ditch, and up again. Ever since I hear like a grinding noise unless I turn right. I only hear it when the car is in motion. If I hit the brakes, gas pedal, and let go of either the sound is the same unless going around a right hand turn, then I can't hear it at all.

Just wondering what could be the issue? I took my tire off, rim is fine, tire is good, and I couldn't see anything out of the ordinary.

Also I would like to know how to tell if the wishbone needs replaced?

So a new wheel hub? How could I be 100% sure?

You probably checked this, but how about the plastic inner fender? The fact the grinding goes away on a right turn could be some part of that liner that got banged enough to touch on the tire? Otherwise, a bearing seems the most likely culprit.

Yea, the plastic fender was damaged a little, but I reinforced that part so its fixed, not even near the tire anymore. Ok. I found a way to make sure, will check it out tomorrow, and buy new wheel hubs for the front both sides, cause I heard its better to replace them in pairs cause the opposite side will probably go soon. Is it still safe to drive? I've been driving it this way for about 1 month, took it to a mechanic the other day for other issues, he took it for a spin, and didn't mention anything about the noise.
So I am assuming its not too bad yet.

Or.... We hate to say it.... But you know what we are thinking when you say he didn't acknowledge a grinding noise while driving....

Thanks, it was the wheel hub. I bought one, and wrong one so I got to return it, and get one that costs $130 more at the dealership. Oh well. I love my car, and drive a lot so it needs to be done. I hate driving other people's cars. My parents don't replace parts as soon as they should on their cars so I was in an accident in their car already, wasn't my fault, but I could've avoided it if my parents had everything working 100%.
