During lunch break at work, I gave a guy a lift quickly to fetch his cellphone, he forgot his petrol card, and did not have cash on him, so he gave his phone in, and we went yesterday to pay for the gas and get his phone. Anyway, the garage is right next to Kyalami race track, so I thought let's go check if the skidpan is open and wet and quickly jump on it, for a slide or two and then go again before we get busted. Heheh, got to the skidpan, wide open, soaking wet, and have a couple of cones setup. Got to slide the mini in every possible directions, couple of handbrake turns, even a couple of small drifts. All in all was probarly 10mins in total on the skidpan. Used to go onto skidpans all the time with my e36 323i, never had this much fun, the mini is soooooo "zippy" on the skidpan. Planning on going back this easter weekend to the skidpan to see if I can get on again and get a buddy to film me.

 

Sounds like a blast! Film it! I think that would be great fun! I'm jealous :smile:
