R50/53 Detroit Tuned BPV, No difference?
Detroit Tuned BPV, No difference?
Was anyone else disappointed with the effects the DT BPV had after installing it?
Price was high, and from all the hype, I expected much much more. I'm running 15% pulley and DT BPV, pulley was done first, and last night I changed bpv. Haven't driven it much, but from what I have driven it, it feels exactly the same.
Any input?
Needless to say, I'm going to put my 19% pulley on now.
I need to put a grin on this sad face.

I did not notice much improvement with the "yo-yo" when I installed it either, in fact have heard some people say thier car ran worse. I guess "if it aint broken dont fix it" applies here.
+1 on both of those answers, the DT/BPV is designed as a fix for less than perfect OEM BPV's, simply to address certain issues. But like some "maintenance" modifications, for some there was enough of a "performance" difference that it became known as a perfomance mod, even though it was never intended to be so.
