...I installed my Euro parcel shelf last night. This is a great "mod". Took less than 10mins to install and gives me somewhere to put my sunglasses and cellphone other than clogging up the cupholder (only one left, becuase the iPod is in the big one, and the lidded one is full of quarters).

I bought the complete kit from Classic Mini in Ohio ($75 including shipping), the guy I talked to knew exactly what I was talking about, had all the parts in stock, and even sent them as a kit (I didn't need to know all the individual part #s). It arrived in 4 days (to Los Angeles). As a comparision I got a quote from Nick Alexander Mini here in LA, and they wanted over $125 for all the parts. Wazzup with that????

best mod so far... I put on some Union Jack Mirror caps on my MCS. Its looks great and attracts a lot of attention. Also hardwired a Escort radar detector... that has saved me a few times. And last week I bought the manual off ebay... $20 well spent. I still want to get the book from bently publishing though...

The Euro shelf... does this replace the glove box? I will have to look into this now...

It replaces the panel that you bang your knees on when getting in and out of the driver's seat

Now I gotta call Classic MINI! I haven't ordered anything for my MINI in over 3 days!

Most people would agree that the best and cheapest performance mod for thw MCS is the addition of a 15% pulley.

As for looks.....here are the best mods for the MCS:

UJ roof flag (I have CR/W so it looks stunning)
Chrome mirror caps
Chrome front grille (Replaces body colored factory grille)
Aux Input jack
UJ Stem Valve covers (MINI OEM)

Cuz they shipped it all to California that's why....what's up with you guys out there? Stay on the pavement, let me buy 0ne kit of touch up paint!!! I will buy this shelf thingy next time out there....met the guy who sold me PKT RKT, (Jarred) hadn't seen me since October, yet remembered my name, the car, the fact that it had been in for the JCW and the cool wheels it had on.....no wonder those guys are good....
