>>>>Heck yeah, and take the change and go for pizza! though I still think a couple of weeks of gambling and leading a dissolute life in the French Riviera would be a whole lot better use for the money, given the MINI is out in the garage already.....
If I was given $50,000...
I'd buy 2 MINIs.
One a MCS in hot bold colors and JCW kit and LSD.
the other as MC in cool light colors, perhaps black contrasting roof, with CVT!!!
I'd be the envy of the neighborhood....
oh, but I already am !!!

I would still buy a MINI. I could not afford the insurance on an M3, S4, or Boxster, or any car that approaches that 50k mark.
Of course it would have a JCW kit with everything cool I can get my gritty hands on...extra set of wheels....
Only 4k on my MCS, I went for a spirited drive last night and am still amazed.

With that much cash, I'd have to have a 1995 M3 Lightweight. I saw one for sale recently for $35K. I'd spend the remaining $ on track fees.

You couldn't afford the insurance NOW.... but if you had the car free and clear, you would have no car payment.
Unless you insurance was ungodly (what like, $600/month +) you'd still probably come out ahead
