Bonnet issues

I can't latch the bonnet's driver side down. I've tried adjusting the hood latch in every poison possible and the bonnet hinge as well. and still will not lock down. open for suggestions. Thanks

Is the bonnet straight (aligned with wheel arches, bumper cover?)
I would say if everything is straight and there is nothing wrong with the points where the bonnet and latch meet up, maybe some silicone lubricant in the latch to loosen up the mechanism. Otherwise maybe the latch has failed, and you need a new one.
I'm not certain. I had to adjust my latches on both sides to get it to shut tight.
The bonnet would shut, but I could pull it up about a half inch when latched. Made a horrible, loud vibration when idling.
Also I assume you have checked the obvious, and there is nothing new in the engine bay like a strut bar, or CAI getting in the way?

take a screw driver or pen or something to close the latch with the hood open. If the latch can be closed and latched and stay shut with a pen acting as the striker then you know the latch is functioning. Test it with both sides, obviously your right side is latching properly, so if the left doesn't latch with a pen then you've found your problem.

If it works properly, then the obvious problem is either mis-alignment of either latch or striker, or you're not closing hard enough Seriously not trying to be an idiot but I've gotta close my hood with a little force to get both sides to latch.

Sounds like you have a dry cable. I once had a corvette that was doing the same thing and came to find the cable needed lube.sprayed dry slide in the end of the cable and it was cured.
