I thought you guys might enjoy these... just a little goofing off on friday afternoon. But with a car like this, who can help it?

Here are the specs on this car if any of you guys are interested.

Its soon to get a new quaiff limited slip diff along with a nice metalic sachs cluth and a lightweight aluminum flywheel.

Is this the MINI that won a burnout contest sponsored by a magazine? I don't remember which one...

I don't understand why it's burning rubber with the front tires instead of the rears.

Somebody please explain.

Uhhhhhh...front wheel drive?

The front tires drive the car not the rear, so the rear don't spin from the engine.

I don't see a LSD on your specs.
Is it just the 287HP/264TQ that keeps you from peg legging like the rest of us?

Mmmm......I can't read your tire sponsor through all that smoke !!!!!!!!!! I have always wondered how much hp/torque the 6-speed German built Getrag tranny could handle before it stripped all of it's gears.

An LSD goes in Monday along with the performance clutch and lightweight flywheel - been waiting on a new version of the flywheel which is suppose to be to us by monday for testing. Tire sponsor is kumho - has the MXs on there which are a GREAT tire...I'd have them on mine but for now i'm sticking with the stock 16s and the MXs don't really come in a good size for 16s. The getrag seems to be handling all the power just fine, and we have abused the crap out of that MINI...but the clutch is another story.
