Intermittent Gear Change Issue HELP

I recently noticed that every once in a wile out of nowhere, the car will be very difficult to get into gear, This happens while driving. Pumping the clutch does not help and it lasts for about 5-10 minutes then smooths out. The gearbox will feel very notch and almost "dry." I'm thinking clutch slave cylinder. Has anyone had this issue?

I'm having a similar issue. Except now it won't go into gear at all. I think it may be the throw out bearing, pressure plate, or clutch.

I get it in 6th on "cold"(42*f) morning when I take the free way to work. I do not use 6th often was thinking that was a cause but excited to see other issues cause this.

Don't want to scare you but I fear you are experiencing clutch problems. sorry. You could try changing the fluid in your tranny with aftermarket which will help it shift smoother and take out the notchiness but I think its your clutch release bearing and/or pressure plate fingers are on their way out. If you drive mostly in town, I would suggest you drive it till it breaks and then replace it.
I noticed from your other post that you changed the clutch cylinders probably in an attempt to fix this and you are still having issues. Hence, I am further convinced that your problem may be clutch system related. Keep us posted on what you find.

Crap. So you don't think it's one of the cylinders? If it breaks do I need to replace the clutch? Will it just refuse to go into gear completely?

Change your tranny fluid and add Lubegard's manual tranny additive.

depends on what part of the clutch system breaks. when mine broke (release bearing disintegrated), i was able to get the car moving by having someone push it while in nuetral and then jamming the shifter into 1st gear when i reached min velocity and the car became drivable. I was able to upshift and downshift until I got home. However, heaven forbid if I had to stop because I would of needed someone to push me again to get the trany gears moving so I could shift it into 1st. I was not able to put it into gear while stopped. I realize this is hard on the syncros but it beats paying a tow truck for the short run I had to do.
