I want to start a new mcs project for a daily driver, solo racing, etc.
What base car would you start with?
Would you get any of the dealer options (dsc, etc.) are just get it stripped for less weight?

I would probably get the HK speakers, not alot of weight. And makes for more fun on those daily drives. I depends on how competitive you want to be to get other convenience option as far as weight is concerned.

Daily driver and racing rig are just not the same animal. I love the little extras (heated seats, MFSW) for the daily stuff. It would be nice to see a print out of just what the options added in terms of weight- perhaps there is one? At any rate, some things are sure to add up weight-wise, run-flats and sun roof being the two heaviest. You'll need to decide on comfort and convenience v. a lighter car.
