How did you get the April issue so fast? I'm a subscriber to MT, but have yet to get the April issue. I'll be interested to read the verdit. :smile:

 

No one in my post office reads car mags.....so it arrived today! (just a joke, guys)

It's a 1/2 page "First Test" with the subtitle "More Muscle for MINI ME".

The last line is "Not cheap, but well done, warrantied, and developed by the company that made the original Mini go fast in the first place."

The test is on a '03 MCS verses same with Works. 0-60 comparison is 7.2 vs 6.2.

But I'll leave the rest for you to read.

 

I received my MT yesterday and the article on JCW MCS is only 1/3 of a page, not much to read. :smile:

 

maybe they scored some kinda deal with some connections...

glad to hear they like it.

it pretty much sounds like all the car mags like the jcw mcs. comments pretty much alike - expensive upgrade, better performance, for those with the xtra $$$ it may be worth it.

i sure do like mine. no if's and's or but's about it.

 

I just ran across a Mini dealer selling the JCW kit installed for $4650. Is that the best price yet? Wished I live closer!!!
