R50/53 Spring problem rant

Spring problem rant
So I have seen a lot of complaints about the second gen minis "vibrating" at specific rpm"s after installing springs.
Also, I've heard springs make handling worse.
I have ordered Megan control arms and tein springs recently and will be putting them on my r50 soon.
Is there anything I should know before putting these parts on?
Has anyone had similar problems with the r50/53?
Will springs make handling worse?
Thanks!

One thing to make you aware of...
If you were to order new springs from mini, they would want the list of options...they use this to determine your cars weight....the weight of the options determins the required spring rates...
Aftermarket springs are just aimed at one size fit all...
Lowering with springs is for looks....it reduces suspension travel...somthing the mini already lacks.
If you must lower you car imo, and want handling, coilovers are the way to go...
Jcw springs on gen1 are slightly lower....and would be matched to you car...biggest things that affect weight are sunroof and tranny....
