I dunno where I saw it, but somewhere on the web an accessory site was selling armrests for the MINI.

The armrest seemed to fit between the two front seats, and overhung the emergency brake somewhat.

Anybody have any experience with this add-on?

Is it a Yay or Nay?

MINI-mania sells several different styles. I'm waiting for black to be in stock, but they have the charcoal gray in stock now.

 

mini-mania has (2) styles as stated in previous posts.
one is solid(doesn't open) and the other does open w/ a has a tiny compartment for storage.
BOTH are tremendously overpriced.... by my humble standards....
$89.95/$ 159.95 respectlvely.
I'll rest one hand on the wheel and the other on the stick... & be comfortable ..and save money :smile:

 

And the price is MUCH worse for us poor Canadians, eh?

I've written to Minimania to find out when black would be available. We all need a xmas list!

 

For those of you waiting, Minimania says that the black armrests will be available by the end of this week - or around Oct. 20th or so.

Now - to spend or not to spend? And I don't take delivery of my MCS for another month!

 

I saw one over the weekend, and it blocks the rear cupholder - which is the only useful one!

 

More than the armrest I miss a small storage area (other than the glove box) for the items that fly around inside the Mini during hard cornering. That and the crappy stereo are the only complaints I have with my MCS.

I love it! I do miss my functional rear cupholder, but the way I drive, only the co-pilot can safely hold my drink...(My Wife!). They have a really cool looking pocket for the space behind the useless cupholders.
