How much were the camber plates? Are they to eliminate the mushrooming? And do they replace the strut mounts?

Dropping the sub frame is not to bad. I did it by myself. I did purchase the press tool needed to remove the bushing. I rent the tool out for 60 dollars, plus a 70 deposit. It save you a ton of headache. I also have the ball joint tools also. Just remember if you drop the frame out. Go ahead and replace sway bar bushings and ball joints if you have a lot of miles on your mini.

I did notice you are going to try with frame in. The tool I mentioned will let you do this.

There is no way you are going to save time by not dropping the subframe. It's such an easy thing to do....and getting to the ball joints without doing it may be possible, but I've never heard anyone say that it's fast, or easy.

Dropping your subframe is easy.

This is what has inspired me. I have all of the tools they are using.

If you want to only change the LCA bushings...yes, with the right tools you can do it without dropping the subframe. If you want to change out the inner ball joints......you are better off to drop the subframe.

Just my opinion after doing the job a few weeks ago.
