Are there coilovers that fit with 18x8 wheels?
I found out the hard way that a set of coilovers I purchase would not fit with my 18x8 Tenzo's. The coilovers touch the rim/tire. I really would like to keep the wheels but the spring drop I have now is not doing it, anyone with this problem?
spacers...made the same mistake when i got my set of Vmaxx c/o...http://www.1010tires.com/wheeloffsetcalculator.asp, that should help you out a bit with selecting the spacers you should get. you can get them pretty much off any site look for good quality set..that have a locking bolt on the face of the spacer
I'm getting spacers for my ST coilovers, i found EuroSport Design seems to have the best prices on H&R spacers, which are supposed to be the best. Way @ WayMotorWorks also has some new spacers which I'm sure are also great and competitively priced.
stuff
Awsome, thank you. My only problem is I dont know what the previous offset was. I bought the car with a set of JCW 18x7 rims on it. I have a 45 offset now. Any ideas what width spacers are needed and wouldnt I rub on the fender?
idk what the current size is but i know i was gunna go with 17x8.5 and the offest was 25 and my buddy said to get 12mm spacers and that would be flush..with no issues of rubbing. the tires im gunna run will be 205/40, so with the stretch i wouldnt have a rubbing issue.
i'd say for you do a mock up, take some measurements and go from there
