Awhile back I posted a thread getting everyone's opinion on what to do about my jacked up Cooper. We have come to the conclusion to have the mechanic to tear her apart and see what he can do. We are about 80% sure that it needs a new head gasket. I'm trying to put the parts together for the job but I want to make sure I have everything...if you guys could make some suggestions on what I might be missing I'd appreciate it!!

Check your link for the water pump. It took me to paint pens.

This looks like a good start, but these jobs usually require something you don't foresee.

 

That gasket kit is for an S, and waaaaay too much. And too many parts in it, you'll never need half those gaskets.
We'll get you just the gaskets you need just email us. I have them together in kits, just haven't listed them as I don't have all the photos yet.

FYI if your going to do the timing chain you'll have to pull the crank pulley and front timing cover/oil pump. I wouldn't waste the time.
