Can you match the miles to the MINI ?
Last two would be easy, first two would just be a guess.

Well, I'll go out on a limb and guess that the 2013 JCW has the 804 odometer reading.

I just got mine last week, 03 MCS with 106k miles.
What maintenance do you guys recommend? I'll be doing oil with mobil 1 full synthetic next weekend along with filters maybe.
Will see my mpg first then see if i need to replace plugs and wires.

118,000 so far on my 03. JCW R53....running like a top. Time for some new balljoints, but other than that...no issues.

Whole set of strange symptoms about a week ago including the over-temperature warning light flashing, then staying solid red, temperature needle going to the high end, then periodically falling back to normal, electric cooling fan coming on after engine was turned off, cold outside air coming in while the automatic temperature control was dialed for maximum heat - and still the engine, hoses, radiator, etc all seemed to be at perfectly normal operating temperature - no steam, no leaks, no smells, no funny noises. Car ran fine!
International MINI of Milwaukee replaced the $43 Engine Temperature Sensor - and everything has been operating perfectly again for the past 600 miles. I guess that was it; - when the 'computer' got erratic signals from a faulty temperature sensor (or its wiring), it sent 'corrective action' signals to everything else on the system to get my attention.
For those of you who've read of my car before,
Yes, it still has its original muffler
Still has its original shocks and struts
Still steers, handles and rides like a new one
And everything works perfectly as its makers intended.
It has had some repairs, - but, far fewer and less serious than I would ever have imagined. An Amazing Car!
The odometer photo was taken earlier today.
The other one was from 3 or 4 months ago -
but, since I haven't hit anything since, -
it still looks just like that.

About to turn 113,000. To you guys with over 250k that's incredible! I hope we can all get there.

How fortunate you are to have found a 2002 with 'so few miles'.
As you can see a few messages earlier,
my 2002 has treated me very well.
(My first repair -
rear brake pads and rotors -
was at 180,000 miles - - -
and those replacements
are still 'in there' at 541,000 miles.)
Hope you'll be as amazed by your MINI!
