wow man...can I see some pics of how the paint on the front end has held up n stuff. did you have to replace your windshield ? I'm finding that either the stock glass is very weak or these cars take rock blows directly and they dont deflect off because of the front end shape it seems

This thread makes me feel good about ours having around 183k miles on it. Glad we got it as we've always liked these cars, and this community is awesome!

Haha - I think the front has been painted at least twice because of road damage and got clipped by a UPS truck. Don't look too close, you'll see three different shades of yellow. (not the best body shop color matching). I think I am on my 3rd windshield, all road damage, normal for around here.

Yellow is a pain to match! I only think ours is two different shades, but it's got some hellish clear coat peel where it was repainted, too.

I Just cranked over 77777 miles this morning in my 2005 MCs.

And I hope to put many more miles on my sweet machine!

Best,

Mark

ps I don't think that I attached a picture properly.

also, the gauge was installed in 2005 by a factory worker who had a bad cold...hence the spit splatter on the inside...I wish that I could easily disassemble and clean it up.....my god.

This is the most beautiful mini I have ever seen. I wish I can find an r53 with this same color combo! I am a sucker of the red/white roof combination. Best of the best! Where did you find the checkered rear quarter window and sunroof stickers?

I got them out of a place in Texas back in 2005. They are for the sunroof , but fit on the 1/4 windows just fine.

I see. Im honestly considering wrapping my cooper a different color as I have been with pepper white for almost 2-3 years now and I am getting a bit tired of it. Can you post up some more photos of your car?

My '04 JCW is sitting in the 287,000 mile range right now. Drove it to an out-of-town worksite last night 117 miles of good fast 90 mph on interstate. Still humming. Sometimes it smells like a hose is getting too hot but it goes away after it cools down.

300,000

It took 20 years, two months and A LOT of maintenance and repairs to reach 300,000 miles today. On to 400k if I'm around that long ... guessing 2035.
