Heh, I feel the same way. I've done about 6k now and I've only had the car for about 2.5 months. At this rate, my 5 year warranty wont last 3 years...

38.9K at purchase 17 months ago, 73K+ change now, what warranty? LOL. Last (and only) warranted repair was the warped hood scoop at 49,873 miles. Maybe I shoulda cut it tighter. LOL
The previous owner did have the dread timing chain repair and turbo replaced, so I should be good for a little while as long as the oil doesnt drop below 2.7 ounces underfill. : sarcasm in heaps :

Just passed 100,000 on my 03' JCW MCS this weekend. No major problems (knock on wood)....just the standard stuff like shocks, bushings, oil changes, tires.....

Care drives awesome, doesn't burn any oil, the clutch still holds strong, and all it good...hopefully I can get several thousand more miles out of it without any major issue.

Very few problems. Can see a list of stuff here, at my 200k post. Only thing since then is a power steering pump. Getting ready to do a thermostat replacement this weekend. Oh, still on original clutch too.

06 with 82k miles

and its been broken since i got it at 30k miles.

love the car but i don't think there has been a solid 3 month period where something didn't break. not including the passenger seat airbag sensor that broke about 2 months after purchase and has been broken ever since...

currently has an oil leak, A gasket or O ring i hope, a strange ticking noise from the drive train during moderate to heavy acceleration, and some new codes that i have no idea what the cause could be.

my truck in sig that i just sold had a 180K miles. things that went wrong in 180K = alternator....

Just got a 04 MCS about a month ago. Has 64k on it. Really excited to see all these high numbers. It is the first car I have bought and I'm so happy with it.

Still rolling strong

Just clicked 263,000 last week on my R53. Had a scare this weekend when the wife brought it home on 3 cylinders but a new set of plugs (NGK Iridium), an injector clean and a dose of Marvel Oil before an oil change got her purring like a kitten again. Still on the original clutch, second set of brakes and original P/S pump after cleaning the brushes. Only repairs have been a thermostat, slave cylinder, crank pulley, LCR bushings (don't drop the sub-frame), P/S fan, one valve spring, one wheel bearing, front rotors (now on only 2nd set of pads), shocks (Koni FSD) and the lousy glove box door latch. One of the best cars I've ever owned.

Santa Claus delivered my Winston03 in December of 2002. He just turned 133333 yesterday, 06/25/2012. Still going strong (knock-knock).

2002 MINI Cooper 495,000 Miles

Still going strong, but not quite 'there' yet.
My MINI will not be 10 years old for another 3 weeks
and it's not likely to reach 500,000 mies till another 5 weeks.

Will those milestones be celebrated?
Nothing special; -
I'll probably open the sunroof, fill up with gas -
and take a ride in this beautiful world
I've done that before -
but, somehow it's still new every time.

2008 Clubman S at 74K. So far, just front brake pads to get rid of the horrendous dusting issue. And of course the secondary electric water pump recall.

Our 2005 Cooper (CVT) has 43,000 miles, my 2010 Cooper (automatic) has 25,000 miles.
No problems except a daft MINI dealer.

MINI #1 has 67,000 (2008)
MINI #2 has about 1,700 (2012)

Only problems I have had is I had to replace my water pump on my 2008 about 500 miles ago.

Tomorrow will be 3 months since I picked up my 2012 JCW. I pulled into my garage after work today with exactly 3000 miles on it
