turned 5,000 today.............only issue...rattling seat belt mechanism driver side, starting to dissipate..........everything else okay..........CD upgrade # 31 for fuel cut-off (smoother idling) and oil change/cannister done................
Since I picked it up on Sept. 27, I've put on about 1,300 miles. I've noticed I can find an excuse to drive just about anywhere.

Today is Dec. nine which means I'm 15 hours away from exactly 16 months of motoring I should be a little over 47.5k miles on the odo.
And honestly I couldn't imagine myself driving anyhting else

And I still look forward to every chance I get to take Pearl out and got a little drive or a nice cross country road trip

And I still dream about motoring and even catch myself shifting in my sleep

We got our MINI Coopers in mid-June, 2006. We both use them on our commutes. When we take small trips, we use the one with the least miles to try to keep our odometers close to equal. I think we're doing a pretty good job of that.

Too much time detailing, not enough time motoring ??
Wait... there IS no such thing as too much time detailing. More like... too much time sleeping, eating, going to work, and those other time-wasters.
