>>We have 10,400 miles since May - no problems. It's a fun transmission in a great car. Had version 36 installed 2 weeks ago and can't tell much difference. Is that typical?
Yes it is. Just this past Wednesday I had my dealer update the car with version 36 and it feels smoother when going in reverse and the take off effect is a bit cleaner also. Prior to the update, the car had software version 33.2 which was a 98% clean execution but during the hot summer months last year I was having a sudden engine stutter problem (Not frequent though) with the A/C on while the car was idling in "D" gear. 36 is supposed to solve that idle issue and so far so good.
We re taking the CVT to South Carolina road trip very soon!

Went over 40K on the way back from the Las Vegas Meet last weekend, and no problems. Haven't noticed any appreciable degradation in performance, and the CVT is so consistant in response to input, I often find myself wondering what's wrong when I drive another brand of automatic - slush box is really the word for the regular auto trannies. I'm looking into those retro-fit paddles - they are OEM parts, and the guy is just up in LA for any issues I might have. Mebbe I'll get 'em in the the next few months, so I'll keep you folks posted.
