R50/53 Unauthorized Manual & stickers prior to Delivery?

My MINI is on order, but I received the Unauthorized Manual and stickers in the mail the other day. Is that how it's supposed to work? I had heard approx. 6 weeks after delivery.

You can expect to get the Unauthorized manual during the time you are waiting for your MINI. I got my copy in the mail exactly 1 month and 1 week before taking delivery of the car.
6 weeks after you take delivery, you can expect to get in the Mail some extra goodies from MINIUSA. I am 5 weeks into ownership so I am expecting something in the mail within the next couple of weeks.

Actually the Unauthorized Manual is not from MINIUSA. I begged MINIUSA for one and they said they don't supply them. Your dealer has to sign up and pay for the program. It is made and distributed by a third party vendor. Just as some dealers did not do the T-shirt (limited to first 300 MINI's delivered) promotion, some are not doing the Unauthorized Manual program. Unfortunately my dealer is not doing it. Boohoo

Actually, ad agency Crispin, Porter & Bogusky in Miami (www.cpbmiami.com) is responsible for the creation of the "Book of Motoring", the "Unauthorized User's manual", and all their marketing campaigns.
I have the envelopes in which I received both copies of the Unauthorized owner's manual and they both were mailed from New Jersey, which happens to be the location of MINIUSA's headquarters office. I don't have the envelopes in front of me, but I am sure both came directly from MINIUSA, not my dealer. I'll double check on that.

CCM where'd you get your mini from? I ask because I noticed you're from Mass. and my mini's coming from Peabody.

I got the package this week with the stickers. That is about 3 1/2 months after getting my Mini. I LOVE this company. My wife gat a Jeep Liberity the same month as me and she has not received squat from tehm except the notice for her first oil change (trying to get more money out of her). MINIUSA is awesome!
