First ice storm I can ever remember in NE Ohio (I'm only 22...). I can drive fine in snow... but with the ice building up so fast on my windscreen, I'm staying home for the rest of the day... so I don't get hit at Kent State... drivers there are horrid. Anyways, I got home and shot some pics of my Mini Popsicle! Enjoy...

Fun times!

Wow, the sort of precip that comes down and adheres to everything like that. Good move to get it safely in garage. Lots of people do crazy stuff on such surfaces like SUV-ers that think theirs can handle ice. And even good driving can live you in a skid.

Yes, very cool looking car if you disregard the phlegm all over it.

Sarcux - I believe your up in the Hudson area - things in my garage to the south (Jackson Township) look equally as slimey. My sunroof area was vibrating really badly (to the point that I thought something had broken) as I motored home tonite and since I was garaged at work I did not anticipate it was ice building up on the roof as I was driving... Especially since the roads were somewhat passable. Needless to say I thought I was developing a serious problem so like a dumb#$$ I cracked (opened) the sunroof

Anyway I now have a ice cube in the garage with a sunroof that wont close all the way - hoping that it is warm enough in the garage to defrost the car! Funny I suggested to my lady fair to open the house door to warm the garage and was confronted with who do you love more - me of the car!

Anyway - here's hoping the car thaws our this evening! BTW - Kent has cancelled all evening classes according to WKSU!!! Enjoy your evening - unfortunately distance learning via internet at Oklhoma State will proceed as scheduled - back to class........

Motor safely - the weather sucks!!!!!!!

Kent cancelled the classes? Great! Mine started at 6:15, glad I didn't drive there and find out it was cancelled! Take a hairdryer to your sunroof. You in my Mini club? Jackson qualifies as NE Ohio. If not e-mail me, minineo@msn.com. My cousins live in Jackson...

I love the paint job on your mini! I am from England originally and appreciate the UJ.. had to personally go with traditional BRG myself!

Enjoy the night without class - have to head back to my class now!!!!

Jer, good to hear from ya. Ice is such a pain in the *** with cars. When I had my first car, an '87 Integra (it had the flip-up headlights), I drove four hours through a snow and ice storm from New Jersey up to Northampton MA to see my girlfriend, and by the time I got there, there was at least half an inch of ice frozen solid over my entire headlight mechanisms, preventing them from closing when I killed the ignition. I couldn't crack it with anything, so I just left it and went to bed. In the morning my battery was dead.

Here in Boston we're supposed to get close to a foot of snow out of this storm, so I'm psyched. If it's going to be this damn cold, we might as well have some snow to look at.

Hey Sarcux-

I really like what you have done to the front end of your S, the chrome grill and the stripes incorporating the hood scoop. Looks more like a regular Cooper, yet with the extra punch of an S. Very cool. Any more pics of that hood without ice all over it?

Yeah, my attempt was to give it the more classic look of a Cooper... but it still has the sport (and kick) of an S... here's the most recent pics I have... first one is from the summer, the others are a month or so old... with my winter wheels. Usually run on S-lites Sorry about the dust on the photos... scanning in photos without spending a ton of time in photoshop fixing them will do that.

Hey Sarcux -

You're welcome for the "Babe with the Bouncing Mini's". Mark told me he was going to pull it from the gallery in the name of "Bad Taste". Guess you got to it first.

Enjoy!!

Makes me happy to live in this backassward state CA.
my OBC said 31F yesterday, and I was so glad for the heated seats.

Yeah, love it. Had to alter the size so I could put it on my message board. Bad taste for there too, I'd imagine, but I don't care. She's bouncearific!

Scoutd... yup, I have the winter combo. Must-have in Oh-Hi-Officer.

I didn't realize that the VW Cabriolet was a luxury car. Grand Cherokee, either.
