R50/53 What' the holdup?
pitpass,
Have you gone to the WW Ship Tracking page on the web and entered your car's VIN# for the (Auto) Cargo ID. Click to http://www.2wglobal.com/www/WEP/Tool...king/index.jsp
If you get a response, then it should tell you if the car has been released to the shippe and it will show a "booked" status. Even better is if it shows your car is at the "terminal", "ready for Scanning" or "loaded".
If you get a response, go up to the Voyage for the ship that is named, and you can see the schedule of when the car will arrive in the US. If you bought from the local dealer in Las Vegas, then figure an additional two weeks to get to the west coast port of entry
If you know that it's been 4 weeks since the car completed production, then MINI should know in what stage of transit the car is at.

Confirm MINI USA 's owner's lounge said your car has completed production and was last seen "awaiting transportation" and it's been 4 weeks since then and it still doesn't show in the WW site? Something is strange. It sounds like someone made a typo somewhere along the line, but the MINI computer should say what status your car is in. Confirm the VIN# and then get the sales manager to call you back if your MA can't come up with an answer.

Are you sure your car isn't sitting at your dealer? Just about the time my car got to the dealer the MINI people logged him in as having been delivered and I was no longer in their computer as being an order.
and don't wait for the salesman - call right now and ask for the sales manager. See what he can pull up in his computer!

The Ask MINI guy also said my car was built
at the second week of December, 2 weeks ahead
of schedule. My MA is back in Tuesday morning
and I'll give him a shot at finding my car. I'm trying
to stay calm about this.

Sales Manager says my car is in status 155 (assembly) which
means someone deleted my order after the car
was finished in mid December. Ask Mini guy told
me there was a "delete" on my order so someone
screwed up and now I have to wait another 6-8
weeks for a car that should have been here by now.

I hope your dealer does not sell it's cars for more than MSRP. If so, I would say there is a good chance they just sold your car to someone else and reordered yours. That kind of thing was happening a lot, particularly where there is a long waiting list and they were getting extreme prices
Sound to me like you should be getting alot of "extras" when your car come in!Courtesy of your dealer of course. That is BS and they will hopefully do the honest thing and hook you up with some free MINI gear.
I didn't buy the car thru Desert in Vegas because of
their $2495 markup, so I'm getting it from Denver
at MSRP, DS/DS MCS with HK and nothing else
because $22,000 was my limit. The painful part
is I've been driving my brother's spare car, a 2000
Honda Civic, and now I'll have to drive it another
6-8 weeks.
