Hey Jan,

Many of us have been waiting for your remote handheld tuning OBDII unit. I read a post where you have some legal snares and have to repackage the unit.

I was talking to Dan at Grassroots and he said he's been sitting on half a dozen tuning units you sent him roughly 4-5 months ago. He said he can't do anything with them because you haven't sent him the software?

Are these the same units we've been talking about on the forum? I ask on the forum only because obviously there are a lot of people on the forum waiting for them.

I'm assuming if the only holdup for shipping is repackaging, does that mean we can buy one from Dan? Is there a holdup on software?

I'm assuming the tuning units he is referring to are RMW's R53 units....

The R56 units are definitely fresh off the press and were not around 5 months ago. There wasnt even an R56 tune 5 months ago

 

i think thumper is right the r53 units have been around for a bit. i hope jan will pipe in here

 

sure there was 5 months ago, maybe not 8 months ago though

times flies when you're having fun.

 

Those are R53 units and they are ready for tuning
all Dan has to do is contact me
why he hasn't is beyond me?
Consider me more confused

 

I dunno, he said he's called and is even waiting for 2 sets of warranty headers for replacement...
