How do I remove...?

...the auxiliary gages (i.e. "BOOST" and "VOLTS") besides the tach.??? I have noticed thay are a bit crooked and want to re-install them aligned straight. Do they just pop-out of the bezel, or do I need to remove the whole "shebang" (tach, split the column cover halfs etc.) and pushe them from behind???

any help appreciated.

Thanks

Are you referring to the after market gauges that hook up to the back of the tach on the steering column? I have the chrono package on my MCS and have not added any Boost or Volt.

I own the Bentley Manual and am happy to look up and display any pages that would be helpful to you.....

If you are into DIY with your MINI, $75 is the best investment you can make in Bentley Publishers.

If these are Craven pods, the gauges are held in place by a single set screw each.

Thanks for the replies, but I'm referring to the factory auxiliary gage kit. You could order your car with these from factory back in '05...

the minimania page you refeence contains a link to the original install instructions . . .

from those it appears the ga' just pressed into the mount. No set screw involved ... so unless someone decided to add some glue along the way . . .

Capt bj is right, the gages just press in. A little tug and the gages will pop out.
