As the first comment on the video reads, that car has an AGS installed. Makes lots of noise, but had significant fitment/longevity issues, thus is no longer available from M7. You might be able to find a used one, though.

Like stated, it is the m7 Air gain system, dont confuse it with the AGS system that the R56 has, completely different.

Hard to find, ive been searching for one and called many vendors/mini shops for the past 3 years

I love my supercharger whine and all, especially since I've gotten the pulley and Alta intake, but that AGS might have too much of a good thing.

That much supercharger whine sounds like a siren from a police car or ambulance. It would not only be annoying to live with every day, but it might draw unwanted attention from "Johnny Law".

Not to mention the previous posts about how ridiculously hard it is to install, how difficult it is to find and how unreliable it seems to be in the long run.

Take your compressed cloth liner off the botom of the hood. Trust me it makes a big differance.

I have an open top ALTA, and after I installed a catless header, and straight pipe exahust, I couldn't hear the S/C hardly at all. So I needed to take the liner off of the hood for one reason or another, and decided not to put it back. on the first drive the S/C whine was louder than before the exhaust dround it out. I kept it like that until the S/C locked up and loved every minute of it.

Man I'm gona miss that sound, the SPRINTEX thats going on the car dosent whine, but it does make one hell of a whistle at low RPM.

Nope the only centrifigul S/C on the market is Jan (RMW's) ROTREX, lots of $$$ to slap one of those on. The SPRINTEX (TWINSCREW) was just released earlyer this month, and looks really promising (If you dont pay attention to the bias info posted on this site by the competition. Which was based on a pre production unit, that was spun way faster than the specs of the blower alow, yet the kit remains on his car! ) And in the end with that look at droping $3K + fluids, tuning, and labor. It's really a bargan for what you get and the 40+ WHEEL HP (depending on supporting mods and tune) that comes with it.
