My daughter gets Seventeen magazine and as I was leafing thru it, no laughing please, I found at the back in the "teenybop skinny clothes" section, some models sitting on a yellow Cooper.......I dont know whether I should be happy about this, or think that its lame that 14 and 15yr olds think this is the car for them...........I dont know, something about it made me think, Yuck, the MINI belongs in Harpers Bazaar, or GQ...

Before I ordered my car, I was a little concerned that the MINI might be the newest teeny-bopper car, or the newest chick car, or the newest (fill-in-the-blank) car. But after reading a lot of the posts on this site, it's become apparent to me that MINI ownership transcends all of the typical lines that separate our society into distinct groups. The only things that unite MINI owners are a desire to stand out from the crowd and a passion for motoring.

GEORGE: (Slowly shakes his head) My mother caught me.

JERRY: "Caught" you? Doing what?

GEORGE: You know. (All three give him blank stares) I was alone..

ELAINE: (Making a face of surprise) You mean..?!

GEORGE: (Nods) Uh-huh.

KRAMER: (Laughing) She caught you?

(Elaine laughs with Kramer)

JERRY: Where?

GEORGE: (Not really wanting to embellish) ..I stopped by the house to drop the car off, and I went inside for a few minutes.. Nobody was there - they're supposed to be working. (Jerry and Elaine look at each other - enjoying the story) My mother had a Glamour magazine, I started leafing through it..

JERRY: "Glamour"?

(Kramer and Elaine laugh slightly)

GEORGE: ..So, one thing lead to another..

JERRY: So, what did she do?

GEORGE: First she screams, "George, what are you doing?! My God!" And it looked like she was gonna faint - she started clutching the wall, trying to hang onto it.

KRMAER: (Reflecting on the story so far) Man..

GEORGE: I didn't know whether to try and keep her from falling, or zip up.

JERRY: What did you do?

GEORGE: I zipped up!

Yeah I don't know whether or not to be happy about it.....I guess I'm really NOT happy about it. It is kinda lame. Even though I don't have TOO much room to talk considering that I was 17 only about 7 years ago.

I used to read 17 magazine when I was 14 or so.....I've always been advanced for my age....

 

Youngins... but since we got on the topic of age, nobody can ever guess mine... as one of my (older) classmates told me when she was trying to guess my age, I look and act younger, but i'm smarter (wiser), more mature, and know more references then the average youngin heh heh.. I plan on milking it for all it's worth...

I didnt even know who Reese Witherspoon was, I only watch BBC America and since I am female I would be more interested in some guy on the cover hehehehe...
