R50/53 PLASMA BOOSTER IGNITION? Any opinions?
^ I'm curious as well. I have read here on NAM that several people who have installed them have had fairly major issues (burning up ECU). Others swear by it.

The last link was the clincher for me. I've decided to steer clear of it myself.

The STOCK ignition system has been pushed up to some really high HP numbers, so why worry about changing much beond plugs and wires?
The only thing good IMO about "HOT COIL PACKS" is that they can handle larger plug gaps, and really high boost. But they are NOT a nessesity.
