Boy, i do not think that warrenty will cover this one, but I will cross my fingers. Northwest MINI have been exceptional in the past.
Well if your warranty doesn't cover it, your insurance certainly should! Good luck with the mice thing though...

Well, got my car back from Northwest MINI a few days ago. They found that something electrical inside the CVT was damaged, but could not pin it down, so they replaced the whole CVT UNDER WARRENTY! It looks like they did it correct the first time as after a few days, I cannot find a fault in thier workmanship. Fantastic. I really have not dealt with a finer dealer than NW Mini. The same staff is always there, though I have only visited them a couple of times, they seem to act like the remember me and treat me like family. The never even came close to acting annoyed every time I called to see if my MINI was ready. Really a great company. Thanks NW Mini.

>>Now, how do I keep mice out of my engine bay? The dealer tells me that if they liked nesting there before, they will keep comming back.
