For me, it's British Racing Green with white bonnet stripes. I also have the white roof and mirrors. I did take off the white 15" wheels and replaced them with some SSR competition wheels. There's a picture of it in the "Members MINIs" section.

Chose BRG/white roof/white mirrors and silver wheels, because I figure I will not get tired of ithe BRG over time, plus interior combo with beige was great contrast.....just stunning. Vibrant reds, yellows and blues will be great for the younger set, I am 47 and have had cars those colors and got tired quickly with them.....Silver and dark silver would also be a good choice.......have not see a dark red yet........black does not show off the car enough..........pepper white is boring in my opinion.......mirror and roof color is a personal preference..agree with others that white wheels are too high maintenance..........silk green with black is nice and could be collector color since being discontinued for 2003..........

Great pictures. Is it safe to assume that the BRG on the "S" will be the same as that which is on the cooper? I'm probably not going to get a look at an S in BRG untilI take delivery in November, but if I'm lucky I'll get to see a BRG Cooper in person before then. With WHite Bonnet Stripes, of course.

So the consensus is that the White wheels will be an extreme PITA over time? I plan on having this car for a WHILE.

For me the yellow is the sweetest color.. has anyone noticed that it seems to be the most photgraphed color around, I love it. It just looks so cheerful and happy, just like I will be when I finally get one!

Because Chili Red is going to be everywhere I decided that Cooper S will be BRG with white top, bonnet stripes and white 17" rims it will also have the sunroof.

Tell us what you are going to do with the supercharger, I think a lot of us would like to know what to do on the car for better performance.

In case you have not come across me and my MINI Cooper Apple, here is a pic.

She is real, not a photoshop jobbie, and I love her to bits.

Choosing the color of your MINI is one of the most important decisions you'll ever make
I've had too much red sportscar already- reded out you could say...
The bumble-bee look with black bonnet stripes is cute, but not for me...
3rd choice- (for an S) Dark silver, white top...
2nd choice- BRG, white top, cordoba leather...
1st choice- Pure Silver, black top- the sunroof blands right in, the tinted windows look like they really belong, the chrome matches the car color and she's all mine!

Originally I wanted mine to be silk green with a white top. The dealer had some color photos of many of the color combos and I thought this color combo was fantastic. But soon discovered that silk green was not available on the S. So I opted for the dark silver w/white top, sunroof, stock factory 16" aluminum wheels. I actally wanted the black top, but my wife thought the white top would look better. The dealer did not have an example on the lot or a pic of this combo, but did have a dark silver w/matching roof on display. I went with my wife's judgement.

Last week I saw a brand new S on an Audi (?) lot, just the way I ordered mine. A block away was the dealer I ordered from, and he had one with the white and silver top, so I got to compare, and the grey w/white top definitely looks the best to me. Now I'm happy, especially since my mini is scheduled for production (too late to change my mind).

Five more weeks and counting...

I am having the mod on the supercharger done by a professional who knows the specs on the Roots charger. When I get my car and he makes the changes (including finding the chip for the limiter) I will post the info. But you will have to wait until November, when I take delivery.

I'm interested in getting 15 inchers for snow tires. Where are you and how much are you asking?

Indi blue with white is all that was left at the dealer's. I took it without a second thought. Now I really love the color. On clowdy days it looks like navy blue, and in the sun it is a great metallic blue. Good color.

My wife chose Pepper white with black. I think that will look good also. She likes it because it's uncommon. Heck, this is a MINI we're talking about, one of the most uncommon cars around.

I am going to go for the indie blue, the official racing color here in the states, despite the wait. If I lived in the UK I would get the BRG, if I lived in Germany I would get the silver...and so on. Plus the indie blue with the white top and bonnet stripes would look a lot like the BMW powered Williams F1 car.......COOL

Mine is pure silver w/black - I love it, easy to maintain and black roof blends in w/sunroof. And it resembles these cool 900-series porshes - but for the fraction of the price.

Indi Blue is next best - with white roof. I loved the post where the guy painted the company logo on the roof - what a great idea!!!!

I have been thinking about the Chili Red & white top. My bride (of the last 12 years) likes the White top over Liquid Yellow (what a name). Danielle, our daughter, likes CHILI RED. I also like the BRG under the White lid. We all liked the Electric Blue with a white top, but it is not available for the car we will be buying. I must say however that the Dark Silver with white in the picture a few posts ago looks good. I believe that it too is available for the MC S only.

Oh well there is still a lot of time to look at pictures……
The guy at the dealership very politely said I could come back in a few months to order,
and something else I could not quite hear about all the drool on the floor around the S in the show room.

Personally, I don't like the electric blue at all.... it's too 'girlie'... (No offense to the guys who like it...).. And the yellow has way too much white in the mix... it's too 'creamy' looking. I like the Indi Blue with the white top/white stripes/white rims, but alas, I like the super charger more than the Indi Blue color. I went with Chili Red, White Roof, White Stripes, White Rims. A: It was that little bit cheaper, and B: I'm guessing that a LOT of the S owners are/were going to get the silver (esp the dark silver as it's exclusive to the S). Not to meniton it seems that silver seems to the the color of the year where I live (not too many reds though....)

So far I haven't seen a MINI color combo that I did NOT like. I just took home my Chili Red with black top today, choosing that color top over a white one because the black sunroof takes up most of the top anyway. I didn't want a tricolor plus the chrome. Each to his own taste!

At last weeks dealership official opening, they had about 20 cars (some sold, some owners coming back).
Almost every color - red, electric blue, silver, grey, black, BRG.

It was fascinating watching the colors change as the sun went down. The dark grey looked great initially but washed out as it got darker - and the not so good light silver looked better and better.
I decided that the black and chili red kept their looks best as the light changed. But I still don't know what color to order for my "real" Mini.
The black/white I have for now is looking better and better as I get used to it; and it definitely looks DIFFERENT to other cars on the road.

But I still have not seen Indi Blue (my original choice). And being UK born I want one with a white roof to put the flag on ...

So many decisions!
