Picked up my Silver/Black Mini Cooper last night at the Mini Dealer in Sterling, VA. Was on the list 3 weeks and have nothing but good things to say about the sales staff there. No markups, no added extras....great deal. Gotta go do some motoring now. Pictures to come later.

 

Noticed the FSU in the name. As in Florida State University? I was thinking I might be the first Seminole with one. Red Velvet, awaiting transport...

I wanted the Red Velvet, but I was a little impatient and went with the silver since I wouldn't have to wait 4-6 months. And yes!! I am a Seminole!

...Well now i think ill have to go place my order in VA..seeing as how there are no mark ups. I walked in to my local Mini dealership (Palm Beach)<--very snooty town) and test drove the S...i showed the salesman my print out of the Mini i wanted. He then told me that there would be and additional 15K dollar adjustment on top of the sticker!..now, i know that the Mini is part Bimmer, but im not exactly buyin the blue and white circle on my hood....*sigh* i guess ill ahve to wait for just the right deal to come along..

...yes thats $15,000...i was to understand that included bonnet stipes, pin stipes (both of which i dont care for)...thats even if i dont want them, the salesman said id pay for them anyway :evil:

 

The only thing crazier than those folks is anyone who wpould pay such a mark-up!!
