I purchased a short shifter from Helix, and I also bought a boot cover from craven speed unknowingly that the stock shift lever has a welded sleeve on it where the OEM leather boot cover comes up to. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to either get that sleeve off, or get a new lever?
