I don't know why, but every time I fill up gas I set the OBC to "Range" and then just stare at it while it goes up in ~5 mile increments, it's kinda fun.

No, I haven't done that and probably won't.
However, it seems a harmless enough compulsion and certainly will do you less long term damage than watching day-time TV programing.

What's the highest you've seen? I've seen 545 miles in the range scale and the highest MPG was 90.1 !!!!

edlfrey, bwahahhahaha, nice!

smokey, Highest range I've seen is maybe 350ish, but I've been driving it like a bandit since I got it. The highest instantaneous MPG I've seen is 99.9 with the car in neutral coasting to a stop at which point it just turns to dashes.

Sounds fun but I couldn't do it, as I'm never in my car when it's being filled.

Nobody gases up my car but ME.

Same here, but it's been kind of cold lately and I just set it up and then get back in and turn the tunes on and watch that OBC

They also made a break through in Gassing up technology where you can pop down a little lever that will hold the "pump" on so that you can go sit in the car and watch the range increase...

Those levers, as far as I know, are illegal in my state (MA)
The levers are all still there, but the metal "teeth" have all been removed......
I can't even remember when was the last time I could just click it and get back into my car.

Oh well..............
