Well, that's it!

Overnight, Dec. 7 we passed the 5000 page view mark! A record of some sort.

When our last member ROARS out the door of the November Clubhouse in his/her MINI we can hold our heads high enough to stick out of our Panorama Sunroofs! Thanks to all the non-Club member visitors who came by to check us out.

The December Club is going gangbusters, and I'm sure January and the still muddling February Club will do us proud.

The "Can't Wait" club regime is alive and well at MCO! May it serve you all well.

Someday all of you will be able to yell that famous phrase: "I'M OUT OF THIS STINKIN' CLUB"!

See ya on the Motorways. Blast OFF!

I think the November Club is signing off. We had a great run of it, that's for sure, and set a standard to which all other "Can't Wait" Clubs will aspire.

Are there any November members left, or can I torch the Clubhouse?

WAIT FOR ME! I'm still in Charleston. Supposedly released to shipper last Friday and promised for today. But, nothing in sight. This saturday makes a one month anniversary in Charleston! This is too much for one would be Mini owner to bear! :evil:

I can relate to that. BMW lost My Sharona on a train from Halifax, and then again in their Toronto-area compound. (Well, they didn't think they lost her, but I knew she was AWOL!).

Your MINI is in site - trust us - we've all been there. Maybe not for a month, but we've been there.

Thanks. This is frustrating, but I am deriving strength from those who have gone before and experienced a similar unexplained wait. Somehow, I must have offended the MINI gods....Hopefully, I will get the magic call before the week is out. Except that I won't be able to take delivery now until Monday since I have to leave town to take my kid to college. Thanks again for the support.

 

Actually, I am still in the club as I was supposed to take delivery on the 29th or so and it has yet to arrive at the dealer!

 

OK, MINIacs! AMBER ALERT! There's a stray little MINI out there trying to find its way home to Jaybrams. :smile:

 

Well, YuccaPatrol is gone! He's on the road now and may not have the opportunity to yell "I'm Outta This Stinkin' Club" so I've done it for him.

Hope that's OK YP!

(For those of us freezing in the dark in the True North, YuccaP is moving to the sunny, balmy, south. Jealous grin!).

Thanks for the Karmic Energy...I feel it coming my way! Stopped at the dealer on my way home from work tonight and they said it should have come in on today's truck, but didn't. The only other time they had a similar delay, the truck at broken down! Anyway, they promised that I would be in my MINI within hours of arrival. This left me feeling somewhat better, after all, I got to commune with all the MINIs on the lot waiting for their owners to take them home.

 

Take a couple of deep breaths, Jaybrams, and hang on for one sleepless night (or two)!

Let us know when we can blow this joint.

WAHOO! Finally, I picked it up last night!! Only problem, two large gouges on theroof which will be fixed later next week by the dealer. But, its here! I'm outahere. Thanks to one and all for your support. I'll post pix next week after I return from driving a (Ugh) Uhaul all weekend to Northern Florida to take my daughter to school. Close this club, once and for all!!

 

All right the "Can't Wait For November Club" is about to close for good. All November MINIs seem to be accounted for, even the ones that went AWOL

Unless there are any objections, or missing MINIs, this Club will close for good on Sunday December 15th.

We promise to clean up before we blow this joint!

This is it - the Last Hurrah of the "Can't Wait For November Club".

Final meeting now on - however, instead of the usual gathering in the stinkin' clubhouse, this meeting is currently being held on the roadways of the world. Our November MINIs have (apparently) all been delivered. Thankfully, none lie on the bottom of the ocean somewhere.

Members' MINIs from Canada, the US and Europe have all checked in healthy. Most are nearing the end of the break-in period. Soon the only thing we will be seeing in our rear view mirrors will be the other Club members trying to catch us.

Won't happen. November was a very fast month. And you should see us in the turns. We've been taking track training.

This Club launched on September 26, 2002. And now on December 15, 2002 it is officially OUT OF BUSINESS! We've all left, gone motoring, shopping for add-ons and mod kits.

We've cleaned house (as best we can - but let's face it - we're drivers, not cleaners). The joint is yours, December, January, February and all the other clubs that surely will follow. Use it well. It's a great place - even though it's much better when you leave, shouting "I'M OUTA THIS STINKIN' CLUB"

Club Reunion!

With the follow-on Clubs doing so amazing, and with the number of MINIs about to grace our hiways and biways, the November Club just dropped in to the Club Garage for a quick wash, a sandwich and a beer, and a wipe of the windshield.

My Sharona has broken the 10,000 km (6,000 mi.) hurdle. She sounds better, drives like a well oiled machine, and is enthusiastic at every turn.

Bolt recall tomorrow, and then back to playing nice with the other kids!
