R50/53 I love my MINI
Often there are very critical posts on this board. I'm sure this is not hte first "I love my MINI" post. And Im sure it wont be the last.
I love it. I was without it for 2 days driving the girlfriends SUV and it made me realize how much i absolutely love the little car!

I've been driving my friend's '92 Pathfinder to and from work for the past six weeks. It makes our Passat feel like a sports car. I can't imagine what the MCS is going to feel like. I can't wait to get the hell out of that bloody SUV!

I drive lots of rentals on work travel (...even hybrids) and am currently in a rental getting a door ding fixed on my MINI. IMHO, MINIs redefine the driving experience and I LOVE it!!!! Whether a MINI is fully loaded or bare bones....S, Cooper, or One, there's no such thing as a plain MINI!! My only fear is that no other car will ever live up to it in value/$$$s/practicality/fun. What'll I drive next????? Right now, I can't imagine!

Had to drive my father's F150 yesterday. It was like I'd tell the truck to turn and it'd go "hunh?" Although I am intrigued somewhat by the availability of horsepower below 3000 rpm.
Still, I love my MINI. When I got back in it last night, it was like returning home after business travel.

I have a Saab 900 that I thought was fun. It still is a nice stable road car. But driving my Mini is Sooo much more fun. I love my MC too. I've only had Mrs. Peel for a little over three months but have absolutely no problems or complaints so far. There are many complaints I've read that seemed trite. Beverage holders too small? Don't supersize. Then there are serious ones: stumble, cracked windshield and so on. I feel bad for those who have encountered such things. But me and my MC: it's a love affair!
It's nice to have a couple threads like this sprinkled throughout! We get so many newbies saying "I want a MINI, but i read about so many problems!"
Not always the case! And even if you do have a problem (like the 2nd day I had mine and the rubber molding on the windsheifl flew off on the highway), you just forget about it as soon as that refreshing grin creeps across your face when you fly into and out of a turn!

I get to see my MINI through the window where I work, and I'm always going over and soaking up the view. I now do all the little runs to the store, etc. that I would always put off for as long as possible, and I get downright melancholy when I have to use my wife's Honda or the old minivan on an errand because we have to carry something messy or bigger than MINI has room for. I still enjoy listening to each and every upshift between 5k and 6k- the Remus exhaust has what has to be the roundest, most refined tone available for the regular Cooper. In fact, I've got a JCW MCS on order (8-10 months out
), and I'm already pretty sure that I'll miss the my Cooper's exhaust note more than any other aspect of daily driving. I guess I do love my MINI!!

First, I Love my MINI too.
In answer to what if they just aren't available ( can't imagine that happening) it will have to be a, ah, can't imagine that happening so I just won't think about it!
You know what I mean when I say I'm still smiling and excited about this car. Every time I get into it to go somewhere even a bread and milk run is an adventure.

This is a thread I can get into!
I love my MINI!
In fact, today's his birthday (or, our anniversary!)....one year ago today, my life changed!
One year of nothing but lovin' my motoring MINI!
Can't imagine how it would have been if I passed up getting LolaMINI!
Here's too MANY MANY more miles and years!

I've been on a 13 month MINI honeymoon, the longest I've had for any cars outside of MGs. Then again, the MINI is assembled in Oxford just up the road from Abingdon (probably by the same people or their families). There is just something about the English mid-lands' automobiles that inspires a passion it their purchasers. North-Central Italy's vehicles inspires in a similar manner, I am told. The only downside of MINIdom is when for some sort of practical purpose (haulling building materials, going off-roading) I have to leave my MCS and drive another vehicle. I suffer motorer's separation syndrome (MSS): Hmmm, lousy steering, lousy brakes, lousy handling, you get my drift.
I love my MINI!
Sing along with CooperBeagle:
"M" is for the many ways I love you.
"I" is for the insides I adore.
"N" is for never will I leave you.
"I" is for great impressions ever more.
God speed.
