my friend and I got into an argument last night, he's 6'2" and his dad is 6'4" and he said "I hope I don't have any trouble fitting in your new car" and I told him there's plenty of room and that it wouldn't be an issue. Then he said, "I bet my dad wouldn't fit in it if his life depended on it" to which I answered "you'd be surprised, he just might" and then the argument just escalated from there until we just agreed to disagree. So, do you think his dad can fit in the Mini (keep in mind, mine has the sunroof)?

Physically there is no problem - he fits!
... but his ego may be another issue ...

I'm 6'4", My boss is 6'5". We both fit with room to spare. When he first got in he said "Where did all this head and leg room come from"?

I've managed, myself, 6'2" driving, my friends both 6'1" on the passanger side and my other friend 5'6" behind me. Granted no one was supremly comfortable but it worked well enough for about 1/2 an hour.

Maybe a redundant comment, but I am 6'4, and I have been doing driving schools and track events with a helmet on with plenty of room to spare. A friend of mine who is 6'9 sat behind the wheel of my car and he fit easily.

Just to emphasize a point, I have a 6'1" friend with a habit for hats and he has no problems wearing the hat in my car. And the seat isn't lowered to the floor, either.

Well, I'm 6'1", but with 32' inseams and a very long torso--to the point that when I was in the Navy, there were airplanes I couldn't fly because of it. I'v had an MR2 that I had to lean my head to fit into, so I was very aware of the "room" issue.

My test drive in a MCS was VERY comfortable. I had to move the seat forward to get to the pedals, and I still had a "fist" worth of headroom.

I don't think your friend or your father have a worry. Why not take them to your Mini dealer for a "fit check"?

6-2 and no problems. It's a little awkward getting in and out of at first being used to SUVs Vans and Trucks, but I'll get used to it soon.

Our 2 cents worth, but 6'4" 285# with 37"sleeves and 34"inseam and there couldn't be more room. It is almost magical how the car interior seems to expand to the need.
