I would like to get your opinion on this:

Do you all think it's worth it to get the extended maintainence plan?

- I was quoted $895 (US) for the plan. This will cover the inspection I service. The inpsection I service (from all indications) will run about $500. So, for the other $395 what do you get? I hardly think the oil changes are worth it since I do my own oil changes on my cars.

Do you all think the extended warranty is worth it?

I was quoted $3082 for it! This is a small price to pay if the engine were to throw a rod or something. But, I just can't justify getting this.

Since we're on the subject - would anyone know how long the standard warranty and service period lasts?

I think maintainence runs for 3 yrs 36k miles.

How long does the original warranty last?

I think you're right on the original warranty.

As for $3082 being a small price to pay if the engine goes out, $3082 would probably buy you an engine, lol.

Extended runs to what, 50k? I think that's it, not worth it to me.

 

I feel like an ****** for getting the xtendwar because the end of next month Im getting a pulley and ECU remap... So Im paying extra for a warrenty that Im killing with mods
