I received one in the mail yesterday, but I haven't looked at that closely. I'm just wondering what percentage of new car owners receive one of these. From the looks of it, the questionaire is pretty extensive.

The questionnaire is sent to owners that have had their new vehicles for at least 90 days. I am expecting to get it in about 2+ months.

It’s very extensive. I received one about 8/9 months ago. It’s 6 pages front and back.

I got an email from MINI with a link to an online survey about my buying experience at the dealer. This came about a week after I picked up my MCS.

I filled one out for my MCS about six months ago. It was before the cup holder issue made national news, but as I really don't care much for beverage space in my MINI, I had no complaints about the holder in the survey. Still impressed with the tightness of the car after a year. Maybe I'll get another follow up questionaire from JD Powers. I still give my MCS high marks.

Yes, I received the 6-8 page version over the summer and I just received another specifically about the Navigation system ( It came with a $1 bill ). They're trying to guilt me into filling out another 4 page survey. I probably will.

I'm not positive, but I'm betting that JD Power sends surveys to 100% of new MINI owners. Their rate of return is a whole different matter though. I'd expect among MCO members it's very high...but across the whole owner population it's probably around 20%. Maybe the fine print of their site would talk about this.

Just checked out the JD Powers website. The MINI only got 2 out of 5 stars in both mechanical quality and overall quality. It did however get 5 out of 5 for style.
